MOLEQULE-ON Agarose E is ideal for routine rapid separations of DNA and RNA fragments as well as PCR products, the preparation of plasmids, and for screening, cloning and blotting techniques. Agarose E has high gel strength even at low concentrations, so use rates are 0.75 – 2%. It is effective in blotting and in separations of nucleic acid fractions from 250 base pair to 23 kilo bases.

MOLEQULE-ON offers VisualaNA A dye, which is used to visualize DNA or RNA in electrophoresis. It is a safe alternative to the traditional ethidium bromide stain. It is a non-carcinogenic and less mutagenic dye for detecting dsDNA, ssDNA and RNA in agarose gels with a very high sensitivity. VisualaNA dyes are compatible with UV light or with Blue/Green LED technology. This dye is added in small volume in agarose gel for detection of nucleic acids. Several test have been performed on VisualaNA to determined its safety towards user; like Ames test, Acute oral toxicity test, Mouse bone marrow micronucleaus test, Chromosome aberration test and latex and nitrile gloves penetration test and according to these tests VisualaNA A is a safe dye.

VisualaNA X (Nucleic Acid Staining Dye)

VisualaNA X is a new member to VisualaNA family. It is a safe nucleic acid stain for the detection of double stranded DNA, single-stranded DNA and RNA in agarose gels. This dye replaces Ethidium Bromide (toxic and potential mutagen) for visualization of DNA and RNA in agarose gel. VisualaNA X DNA stain emits green fluorescence when bound to DNA or RNA. It has two fluorescent excitation maxima of ~250 and ~482 nm, and an emission maximum of ~509 nm. VisualaNA X was developed to work best with Blue and Blue/Green LED Illuminators and Gel Doc Systems.

DNA Loading Dye

DNA Loading Dye is a pre-mixed loading buffer with two tracking dyes and supplied as 6X concentration. It is used for agarose and non-denaturating polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Bromophenol blue is the standard tracking dye for electrophoresis. It migrates at approximately 300 base pairs on 1% TBE agarose gel. Whereas, xylene cyanol typically migrates at about the same rate as a 4000 base pairs DNA fragment. EDTA is also included to chelate magnesium (Mg2+) in enzymatic reactions, thereby stopping the reaction.
